Bills are Due on the 15th of every Month!
Warm Springs Telecom is wholly owned enterprise of the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs. It is the 9th tribally owned telecommunications company in the United States. It has been created to serve every person, business and government agency on the Warm Springs Reservation with landline telephone service and high-speed broadband Internet.
After many years of planning, Warm Springs Telecom received an American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) award in the summer of 2010. This money was used to build our Central Office building that houses customer service, administration and the central office, where all the equipment needed for a telephone company to work has been installed. In addition, a fiber/fixed wireless network has been built around the reservation to connect customers.
Warm Springs Telecom has received all the needed certifications to offer the Federal Lifeline Program. Tribal Connect is our Lifeline program and enables anyone that meets federal criteria to receive telephone service at $1 per month plus fees. The company is also certified by the State of Oregon as a Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (CLEC) and can provide service throughout Oregon.
The mission of Warm Springs Telecom is to enhance and promote the development of telecommunications services that meet needs throughout the Reservation, to enhance public safety, preserve and promote cultural heritage, and to encourage economic development both in new revenues and in job creation.
